Get Ready for the Giving Challenge!

Presented by The Community Foundation of Sarasota County with giving strengthened by The Patterson Foundation, The 2024 Giving Challenge is a 24-hour giving opportunity to support non-profits where online donations by unique donors are matched 1 to 1 up to $100. That means, if a rower and their spouse each donate $100, each donation would be matched and that would generate $400 for SCRC. Multiple donations by one household, processed individually with unique names are highly encouraged. Because the Giving Challenge is only offered every other year, it is important that we take advantage of its potential by asking all members to participate. We are hoping for 100% participation this year and we are asking each member to consider the full $100 donation. Here is the link to the SCRC Giving Challenge page to make a donation.

Beginning Tuesday, April 9th at noon and closing April 10th at noon. Add the Giving Challenge to your calendar with this link.

Fun fact: If we are one of the first 50 non-profits to receive 50 donations, we win an additional prize of $250 from The Patterson Foundation. The fun begins at 12 noon, Tuesday, April 9th!
